The preschool begins around 9:30 with class time. We use A Beka Book curriculum. All subjects are age-graded and include the following: language arts, phonics, writing, poetry, numbers, music, and arts & crafts. All this adds up to a quality preschool education that will prepare a child for kindergarten.
Being a Christian daycare, we also have Chapel, or Bible time, each day. We teach the children Bible stories, Christian songs, and Bible memory verses. The children also learn Christian character traits, such as kindness, respect for others, and sharing.
Parents need to provide lunch for their child. We cannot heat food up or keep it refrigerated. Most parents put a cold pack in their child's lunchbox. Also, please provide two nutritious snacks that your child will eat, such as fruit, veggies, or cheese and crackers for our morning snack and afternoon snack.
Naptime is from 1 to 3 pm every afternoon. You need to provide a fitted crib sheet and a blanket. Mats are provided.
The children have times to play on the outside playground, weather permitting, as well as indoor playtimes.
